Patient Safety Awareness Week 2019

Visionary Consulting Partners LLC (Visionary) recently recognized the annual Patient Safety Awareness Week, an event sponsored by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) that was held March 10th-16th. The goal of the week-long event was to encourage everyone to learn more about healthcare and patient safety; hoping that both healthcare professionals and patients can work together to find new ways to prevent fatalities when safety isn’t treated as a priority. With Visionary’s past work in New Orleans for the Head-off Environmental Asthma in Louisiana (HEAL) Project, we felt it was imperative that we support the IHI’s mission to advance important discussions locally and globally, and to also inspire affirmative action that improves the overall safety of the healthcare system – for both patients and the workforce, alike.
